I recently used beefcake for my move, and I cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, they provided exceptional service that made the entire process stress-free. Their pricing was refreshingly transparent—no hidden fees or surprises, just a clear and fair quote upfront that they stuck to. Sean and his team were professional, punctual, and handled my belongings with the utmost care, ensuring everything arrived in perfect condition. They worked efficiently without cutting corners, and their attention to detail was impressive. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable, and top-notch moving company, beefcake is the way to go!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7600

These people not only over charged what Bekins movers was going to charge me in the end. Almost every piece of furniture we own was damaged. They did not get all of our stuff here, for 3 days. They charged me to pack some of our more delicate items and these items were all damaged. They drove up a windy mountain road that I explicitly told them was too windy and would damage our things. One of there employees was caught putting tape around a bottle of bleach and going to put it in a box with some of our good linens. The same employee took my great grandmothers handmade quilt turned it inside out (so we did not recognize it) taped it around the bottom half of our Armoir and then it was drug all over the place and can never be replaced. They lost brackets to our desk because they did not take it apart. All of the furniture that we had cast wheels on (I told them to please remove the wheels and put them in the items) they broke off and couldn't be fixed. Our very expensive wood furniture all is damaged, scratched and broken. Not only that their guy put a giant whole in the wall at our new house with his furniture dolly. This all happened a year ago and their insurance company has still not given us any restitution for our damages. The employees do not show any respect to one another at all. They make you think when you get your quote that you are going to save money and they are the best. BEWARE! I know that the bigger name movers would have truly honored their quote and not doubled it on moving day, when you don't have a choice to go with anyone else and we would have not had to pay a dime more. We would not be suffering with so many items broke. I haven't had my refrigerator working in a year, because their movers broke the leg off of it and you can't get another. But I can't get under my fridge to take a picture so their insurance company thinks they won't have to pay me for a new one. Sorry it was a very nice brand new Samsung and I know I can count on my attorney to take care of this. I waited 4 months to be told by their insurance they didn't get the pictures I downloaded so they need me to resend them and they need another 45 days. Unacceptable, so we will see if they like having to pay my attorneys fees as well. Never ever let these people move you. They do not care!

I had never used nor heard of such a thing as u pack it until a friend told me about it. I really wish that I had taken pictures of how well my mattress, tv's, expensive lamps that my mom gave me and just everything was protected. Way over the top! The name was kinda strage at first but the owner has a sense of humor. I would recommend this company to my mother and in fact did as she is selling her house in point loma but is only moving a couple of miles away and beefcake does not move in state. I very strongly recommend these guys. don't let the really good deal fool you. Other companys need to take note.

After a last minute cancel from a different company (which I rather not say who it was) that I had booked with more than a month ago. I came across Beefcake, I wish I would've gone with this company since the get go. The sales rep was so nice and knowledgeable, she didn't try to low ball me like other people I spoke to and got straight to the point, I never knew a moving company could be so caring. I received my stuff on time and now I look forward to starting my job in Wisconsin. Yay!!.. anyway, Thanks Beefcake for all your help! :)).

Well where should I start.. My wife and I decided to move in with my in-laws after we sold our house. We were under so much stress the last thing we wanted to do was to pack up our stuff. So we shopped around for a reputable moving company that would not only move us but would help  us pack. At first I looked in to Bekins and they where charging and arm and a leg. I was getting quotes from all sorts of companies, some I've never even heard of, but I gave them a chance. Well after all the estimates I got which were a lot. I decided to go with beefcake, they answered every question I had, and they weren't pushy. On the day of the move the movers came and packed my entire house in a matter of hours, I noticed they put stickers in every item that was getting put in the truck.   So that was good. We received our stuff couple days ago, they saved me what could've been a huge headache.    .

Let me start of by saying. Now I know why they have such good reviews. Their customer service is truly amazing. My sales rep Gabbie gave me the play by play at every time.
From the first time we spoke to the delivery day. Not only was she honest and helpful, she also gave us some tips on how to keep our box count low and save ourselves money on packing. She confirmed our pick up day and was nice enough to go over our itemized list one day before pick up to make sure all our items would be accurate. She also made sure we understood the terms and conditions before we signed.
On pick up day the crew truly impressed me. These guys were such pros on wrapping my furniture, and handling my belongings. I knew I was in good hands. It only took them about five hours or so to load up my house.
On delivery day I couldn't be happier, they came earlier that I would've thought. As they were unloading items from the truck the driver was going through paperwork to make sure all my items had arrived, very professional. They un-wrapped my furniture and asked me where I wanted it placed so I wouldn't have to do it myself, very helpful.
Overall I gotta say.. Price was fair, customer service was great, and our family is thankful for choosing Beefcake Moving.

I was incredibly satisfied with my recent move. In the past, I have had less than great experiences with long distance moving services.. ranging from late arrivals, hidden fees and damaged items.

The crew from Beefcake Movers arrived exactly on time and were extremely efficient. They had everything loaded on the truck and ready to move in less than three hours! With over 40 packed boxes and an apartment full of furniture.. this was impressive. I got to my new location, they had everything unloaded and were completely finished within two hours and half! Again, extremely impressive.

Plus, the guys were very personable and friendly, which definitely made me less nervous and reduced the overall stress levels that accompany any move.

I will definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

I used beefcake weekago. I had many options and finally selected them cos their estimated price which was very precise and because of their reputation and most importantly because of the sales guy. He was very responsive and offered us the best possible deal and also accommodated everything we asked for. The moving team was outstanding. They came on time, did the packing and loading with ease, moved everything without any dent and unwanted issues, charged a similar price mentioned in the estimate and willingly helped us setting up the furniture. So, I would like to thank and recommend beefcake moving.

I recently used Beefcake Moving Company (02/06/2016) to move from West Hollywood to San Diego. By far one of the best experiences I've had as far as my last two moving experiences. It was a smooth and easy transition from the start. They are efficient and very professional. The crew arrived on time and were very professional. They carefully wrapped and moved all of my items according to each piece. I would highly recommend them and would use them again, in a heartbeat. Like I said it was afire star moving experience thanks to Beefcake!

All I can say about Beefcake Movers.. uncomplicated, reliable, flexible, skilled, and affordable. All these mentioned qualities were available. I was worried for my guitar and treadmill before moving. The crew at beefcake were qualified packers packed my sensitive items so carefully that nothing was damaged throughout the entire ride. I was very impress in their attention to details. All stuffs were delivered on time. The crew of professionals labeled each boxes so accurately that I didn’t have to mess up searching any item . Delivery was within the window and they contacted me prior to delivery to schedule a time. I would definitely use them for my future move and recommend them based on my experience to date.

Outstanding value, superb customer service. Moving is a very stressful time, but Beefcake Moving made everything very easy for us. I called to reschedule at least four times, and they were extremely helpful and understanding. The crew (Sean and Co.) arrived earlier, which worked great for us, and the four of them were terribly amazing. The price was also very reasonable. I have only great compliments for this company and I strongly recommend it. I have already recommend it to my neighbors upstairs who are moving in October, and will continue to do so. Thank you!!

The reason I went with beefcake movers in my move from california to south dakota was because of the fabulous reviews I saw here. Those reviews couldn't have been more accurate. After sending a list of inventory, they promptly responded with a quote. The crew were as friendly as could be. They showed up early and immediately got to work taking down boxes and furniture. They were very professional: not wasting time, no funny business and no keeping themselves on the clock longer than necessary. They took time to review the contract with me and made it very clear what the rates were. They took great care of all of my stuff to make sure nothing was damaged. One of them even fixed a leg on my coffee table that was splintering. All in all, the whole move only took three hours. Their rates may seem a little high but trust me, it is totally worth the money. They completely removed all the hassle and stress of moving. I am thrilled with my new place and I am thrilled with this company who made the move so easy. The next time I move, which hopefully won't be anytime soon, I will go right back to them to handle my move.

All items successfully delivered long distance and without apparent damage. Movers at pickup moved with reasonable speed. Delivery was smooth. There was, however, an over 2 week period between my supplying the company with my address and the day they delivered. They then also chose to deliver my items without advance notice, meaning I had to suddenly change travel plans. If I were living in an apartment without a bed/cookware/some clothes, those 2 weeks would have been pretty hellish. Overall? Meh.

We hired BEEFCAKE MOVING to move some office furniture from LA to our STL offices. DON'T USE THEM.

Payment Policy:
You pay 65% down and the rest is due before they unload the furniture. They increased what we owed twice:
Once upon pick up when they said the desks (2 U shaped and 1 L shaped) were considered 2 and 3 person desks. (there was nothing on the contract that asked what shape the desks were or listed them as extra fee items).
And second upon arrival when the mover said it was more than 75 feet from the truck to our office door. If he had not pulled up so far it wouldn't have been over 75 feet.

Movers:
Beefcake hired a guy to pack up the furniture, where he took everything apart and didn't mark what pieces went with what.
A different mover picked up the items and transported them to our office, where upon arrival he threw a fit about where we wanted him to park, stating he was scared he would get hit by a car or get a parking ticket. A police officer, our building security officer and I were all trying to talk reason to the guy but he kept whining. I finally convinced him to proceed by offering to stand outside with him and tell him if a car was coming. (This was a side road, not heavily travelled, and only a parking lane away from the curb).

He brought no help except for his wife, he had no ramp to unload, me and my colleagues had help him with several items. And after he finally unloaded, he stated that he doesn't put anything together, and left.
He would only accept cash, (isn't it hard to document payment for tax purposes with cash??).

When we tried to contact Gabbie who is the contact at Beefcake she did not respond to the calls.

Move size: Office Move Service cost: $2500

If your looking for a company with not only a cool name but amazing service hire the pros at Beefcake, this guys are no joke. They help move me a couple of friends from the oc to Seattle. Daryl and his crew arrived in the morning, wrapped all our furniture and did really nice packing for our very expensive mountain bikes. These guys work hard and you can tell they love their job. Overall the Move went swell, our items arrived a week after, my biggest concern our bikes arrived intact. 5 stars not enough for the service.

I hired beefcake movers to move me to New York. I couldn't be happier with their service. My initial call was with gabby who took care of my moving needs until the end. She was very detailed in explaining how the entire process would work. Told me up front any additional fees that could occur, being that I moved to a high rise in the city, there was no access to a big semi trailer so she right away provided me with the cost of a shuttle which is a smaller truck they transfer your items to in order to deliver. The way this company shows how they care about your items, so professionally packed and handled is impressive. Their prices are very competitive, however service exceeded my expectations!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3900

The worst moving company I have ever used. It starts off great. Gabby the rep says all the right things. The price is right. Then when they actually move you the price doubles. They want Cash previous to Delivery. They neglect to tell you that that actual move in date you specify isn't the date you get.. it is somewhere within 20 days of that date. They show up with a truck that either can't clear your driveway or the electrical wires and then charge you an additional fee in cash ($500 in our case) to receive your things via another truck so it takes hours maybe days to still receive. Then Gabby will be snarky and tell you you should have read the fine print on the contract but takes no responsibility for not explaining these very important and specific points to you. They are dishonest, unethical and rude. Crooks as far as we are concerned. Very dishonest behavior. DO NOT USE THEM.

We use Beefcake movers for our move to Minnesota, they provided a free on site estimate for our three bedroom house. We were giving a binding quote for all our items which included some packing. I wish I would’ve taking pictures of their work, but with two toddlers on move date, I didn’t have a chance. These guys mean business, we didn’t realize how hard moving can be. Very professional crew and service from beginning to end. Delivery was within their delivery window, and at delivery I was given a 24 hour notice by driver. Their is no doubt I totally recommend this company! I recommend getting an on-site if you are within their service area.

Two most important things you want in a moving company, I’d say: careful handling of your goods, and speed. Beefcake gets my highest rating on both. Pickup team, Sean and Gustavo, was outstanding, seeming to spend a little extra attention and care on two major items, a large bookcase and a revolving CD tower, that could not be insured because they are made of wood products rather than solid wood. They—and everything—came through the move without damage, and nothing was lost. I talked to a half-dozen companies before deciding on Beefcake, who, coincidentally, I discovered had moved two of my friends: one a cross-town move, the other from L.A. to Kansas City. I see now why Beefcake got rave reviews from both. By the way, Beefcake quoted me the lowest price of any of the movers I queried.

Best movers to hire for your move. Explained everything upfront and provided exceptional service. Took really good care of all furniture moved and packed liked pros. It can get very stressful when looking to hire a good moving company, I received several quotes, some companies seem to eager for my business, beefcake moving got straight to the point. I recommend this company for anyone looking for an honest mover. Moving across country isn’t cheap, so expect to get what you pay for, if your looking for a cheap mover you’ll get cheap service. If your looking for white glove service I highly recommend beefcake.
